It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Several
people
inform that advertisements are a cause of purchasing things which are not necessary. Other
people
inform that publishing tells us regarding new
goods
that may develop our lives. I absolutely agree with the
first
point because luxury
goods
can be sold by using advertising, and sometimes we buy something unnecessary just because of the
promotion
which was published in advertisements.
Firstly
, Many publications are related to luxury
goods
more than consumer
products
because in real life we always have to consume grocery
goods
,
therefore
most companies launch advertisements to encourage
people
to buy them.
For example
, my friend's company produces both grocery
products
and luxury
goods
, but the company usually promotes unnecessary
products
because there are specific targets to buy them, and they need motivation.
Secondly
, we perhaps purchase some
goods
which we do not need just because of the attractive
promotion
. The
promotion
usually is used in advertising to motivate
people
to buy
such
as buy one get one free or discounts.
Consequently
, some consumers buy
products
which

are not essential due to
promotion
.
For instance
, my mom who always goes grocery shopping usually came back home with inessential
products
because she spends her money on the sale item. All in all, I totally agree that the advertising is able to motivate
people
to purchase items which are inessential because of the fact that most unnecessary items can be sold by advertisement and a large number of purchasers buy sale
products
which were published on television
although
they do not require.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
