Some people think that it is necessary to travel abroad to learn about other countries, but other people think that it is not necessary to travel abroad because all the information can be seen on TV and the Internet. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

It is true that the necessity of travelling is a topic of much debate. While there are some reasons to support the idea travelling can be obtained just by sitting in front of the television and computer, I am of the opinion that visiting other
countries
is the only way to gain knowledge of their culture and tradition. On the one hand, many
people
believe that it is easier to get to know other
countries
via the screen. A variety of
people
do not have the chance to travel abroad as they can not afford to travel, or they might be too busy with their work.
Therefore
, having a trip by watching TV or through digital devices may help them to save their time and money, as well as choose the favourite place to explore and ignore the dislike information. Having said that, there are a variety of reasons why I believe
people
should travel to other
countries
. The
first
reason is that everybody will have the opportunity to experience everything firsthand.
That is
to say,
people
can understand the culture and tradition of the country in different ways
such
as meeting local
people
, eating traditional food, trying new kinds of transportation and so on. The
second
reason relates to the enjoyment and new feelings that you would never get from the webpage or TV screens.
For example
, I visited Danang and experienced skydiving, and it was far from what I saw on TV as it gave me the thrill and joy that travelling through television could not bring. In conclusion, it seems evident that both sides of the idea have their own unique advantages, but I maintain that
people
should visit other
countries
directly to experience everything firsthand
