Some people say that the Internet is making the world smaller by bringing people together. To what extent do you agree that the internet is making it easier for people to communicate with one another?

The
Internet
is now an integral part of modern life
as a result
of the emergence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Internet
technology has undoubtedly revolutionized the way
people
communicate with one another. In my opinion, I strongly agree with
this
viewpoint.
First
of all, there is no doubt that the
internet
facilitates faster
communication
between
people
dispersed geographically since it facilitates faster
communication
between
people
. Before the advent of the
internet
, the only means of
communication
between
people
was through letters. Depending on the distance, it could take as long as a few days, or even weeks, to receive handwritten letters containing only very little information.
As a result
of the
internet
,
people
today have not only been able to chat within seconds or make video calls within minutes but the process of reporting has evolved into a much easier and more efficient one, whether it is for the public or private sector.
Furthermore
, with the advent of the
internet
, it is now possible to chat and make friends across the globe. Due to the emergence of social media platforms, the
internet
has enabled
people
from all around the world to communicate much more easily and conveniently than they have ever done before. In spite of cultures that may differ,
people
listen to each other's stories and gain a greater understanding, an enhanced sense of empathy, and a greater understanding of
people
and cultures from around the world,
thus
strengthening the bond between them. In conclusion, I believe that technological advancements and the
Internet
have resulted in a reduction of
communication
distances between
people
due to the increased utilization of the
Internet
.
