Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

It is widely believed that reading books is a better way for people to develop their imagination and language skills, in comparison with watching TV. From my perspective, although I partly agree with this opinion, I would argue that language skills can be acquired more effectively by watching TV, and will give my reasons below.

Nowadays, prison is the common solution to the problem of crime in many countries, since crime is one of the most problems that these governments face. However, whether or not to provide people with better education to prevent criminals is a controversial issue. In my opinion, I deeply agree with this idea, good education is the best way to resolve this problem.
