Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are played in teams, like football, while other people think that taking part in individual sports, like tennis or swimming, is better. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

It is argued that participating in team
sports
such
as soccer and volleyball is more helpful. Whereas some people subscribe to the view that it is better profitable for participants to join in solo
sports
such
as badminton and tennis. In my opinion, I personally believe that both kinds of
sports
can provide a wide range of advantages depending on the participant’s hobby and ability. On the one hand, there are many reasons why I consider that taking part in
sports
with a team brings many positive benefits to members.
Firstly
, it not only helps to improve participants’ health but
also
enhances their interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication that assist participators in daily social interactions.
Besides
that, players can have opportunities to develop a sense of unity, friendship, and sportsmanship between companions in a sport that contribute to efficiency in the workplace in the future.
On the other hand
, people might concur that individual
sports
also
improve participators’ health strongly and control emotion effectively. Particularly, players can enrich some personal skills
such
as learning patience, managing feelings, and how to deal with stress in order to be more confident and have a strong will.
Last
but not least, it is very significant for individuals to establish their goals and target ,
then
they will build specific strategies to overcome their own limitations and get achievements. With all reasons mentioned above, I am convinced that both kinds of
sports
do bring many great benefits for people in mental and physical health, so it depends on participants' circumstances, an appropriate type is picked up.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
