Some people say that in our modern age, it is unnecessary to teach children about the skills of handwriting. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Handwriting is a great skill till a few years back where people use to rely mostly on handwritten material for any purpose but in recent years with the introduction of computational ,devices it is no more believed as an important skill by some. On the other ,hand a lot of teachers consider teaching handwriting for kids is not only a way to make them write nicely but
also
a practice that involves creativity and patience. The modern age enabled easy access to several computational devices like computers, laptops, phones and tablets in which we can write digitally and print them instantly using a printer. Handwritten books are substituted by both hardcopy and soft-copy digital books with better understandable fonts and an error-free experience. Traditional handwritten emails are replaced by electronic mail called e-mail which is used for both domestic and corporate purposes because of the ease and numerous digital benefits. Thousands of digital books and emails can be accessed anywhere and at any time whereas it is very hard to carry handwritten material and
this
is the main advantage of it. On the other ,hand several people think teaching handwriting should remain a basic requirement and it is inevitable. It is often considered as an art that can be excelled only with patience and practice which are the main aspects to learn any art form. Multiple types of research show stocks learned for it is a very fundamental practice done by kids to get started with learning how to write and
also
serve as fundamental for drawing and art.
Although
it is a time-consuming process it should be taught to them because handing over computers or phones to them for studying and writing is not a feasible approach. I strongly disagree with the statement as learning handwriting is more than just writing and is a very fundamental way of teaching children various core aspects of learning and it is one of
such
skills which can not be replaced by technology.
