Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others, however, argued that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both point of view and give your own opinion.

It is clear that there is no doubt that every country has
crimes
and punishments for that. Despite some
people
assert that there should be exact punishments according to the
crimes
done by
people
, others accepted that decision of the punishments depends on the conditions of a particular
crime
and the offenders how to commit the
crime
. In
this
essay, I will explain both sides of the argument in detail and provide my opinion. On the one hand, some
people
agreed that penalizing should be specific depending on the types of
crime
.
In other words
, the fixed penalty can help to reduce the number of
crimes
.
For example
, offenders can realize the law and regulations, and punishment encourages them to think again and again before they commit the violets.
Therefore
, nonadjustable punishment can give a solution to control the number of
crimes
and some
people
accepted it.
However
, others admit that offences should be reckoned as per the situation of personal
crime
and reason for committing as for self-defences.
For instance
,
people
have to commit offences in order to protect themselves in some cases.
Therefore
, every court has enacted self-defence law in every country for self-protection and
people
claim that
crime
should be judged as per situations of commitment. To conclude,
although
the penalty of violation can be considered according to the reason of offending, in my opinion, each type of
crime
should be nonadjustable punishment to decrease and control
crime
rates.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
