Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governemnts to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

Governments should make necessary arrangements to ensure that all the household waste should go to recycling which is a predominant factor for the development of the country as
this
can reproduce the materials without going into land. In my opinion, the rulers should bring specific rules and regulations so that the public could follow these without any hindrance.
Firstly
, convert something into reusable material is extremely important especially from homes
instead
of dumping it into the ground
that is
hazardous for nature and
this
can affect the existence of the animals and birds habitation.
For example
, materials like plastics stay in the land for several years without any changes .
Thus
, the chemical reaction from
this
can cause many environmental pollution and health problems as well.
Consequently
, it is the duty of the politicians to provide awareness among the public about the consequences of landfills as well as the advantages of recycling the waste from home.
Besides
, the regime could plan
this
through various programmes like street play, advertisements etc.
For example
, developed countries like Australia have embarked on a new approach towards promoting recycling which is a refund of a small amount whenever the individuals place the unwanted materials
in particular
recycling centres. Apart from
this
, applying new laws against landfills can make the public act wisely.
For instance
, Littering is prohibited in most of the European countries like Germany , Italy and so on as the society is aware of the penalties and other procedures they need to face. To conclude, it is the responsibility of each of the citizens to make sure that their way of an act does not adversely affect the nation which is a must for the development of the nation.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
