You have recently started work in a new company. Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter • explain why you changed jobs • describe your new job • tell him/her your other news
Dear Sam,
I’m
writing to let you know that I changed my job and I’m
excited about my new occupation.
I was really fed up with my old position because I felt that I wasn’t learning new tricks. You know me well; If I don’t have any challenges to surpass, I feel demotivated. Apart from that, I was very unhappy with my old manager’s behavior
. He was totally rude and I always felt under pressure from him.

I’m
working as a marketing manager in my family company now, and this
new position fits me like a glove. Finally
, I can use all my creativity, developing advertising campaigns, and I will be responsible for training the sales team monthly.
I also
have special news for you. I’m
getting married to Mike within 2 months and we will be really happy to share this
moment with you. Make sure you keep the first
weekend in December free, so you can come and celebrate with us.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best wishes,
Mary.Submitted by debi_quistina on
