Technology is growing continuously beyond our expectations and imaginations. In the near future, it is agreed that our roads will be having driverless vehicles like cars, trucks and buses. The automotive industry has been rigorously working on
this
 disruptive technology for a few years now. There are a lot of advantages of having an automatically driven taxi where there are a number of proximity sensors that can detect an obstacle from a long distance and avoid the cars from any kind of accidents. Along with these sensors, more intelligence can be added to the buses or trucks like integrating the maps to find the way to the destination, add in voice controller to talk to the passengers to deliver the same experience as before when there was actually a driver, the client can
also
 listen to music or news while he or she is in the transit, the vehicle can
also
 understand the traffic signals and act
accordingly
, control the speed while passing through a hospital or a school or a college.
On the other hand
, there are
also
 other practical difficulties in deploying
this
 technology like if there is a malfunction in the engine system or breakdown of the system, the customer would not be able to reach his or her destination on time.
Also
 considering the current road condition it is not possible to get driverless vehicles on-road. One other major disadvantage is that there will be a lot of unemployment where all the drivers will no longer be required to drive any of the transportations.
As a result
, there will be a lot of families suffering to meet their daily needs as
this
 would be the only source of income. While disruptive automation takes action, the advantages of driverless cars definitely outweigh the disadvantages. Together we have to build
this
 nation as a better place for the
next
 generation by overcoming the disadvantages.
