Somepeople say that the mainn environmetal problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Dissciss both of these viewpoints.

According to some people, the most important problem is the extinction of particular species of plants and animals.
However
, others argue that there are more significant environmental problems
such
as climate change. In
this
essay, both of these viewpoints will be discussed in detail before a conclusion is reached. The environmental crisis is becoming increasingly important to raise awareness of the existence of these issues. One of the main problems is the disappearance of biodiversity. It is possible to say that human activity is leading to extinction. The ecosystem, which took millions of years to be perfect, are in danger when any species population is destroyed. The past 50 years have seen a rapid growth of human consumption, population and global trade, resulting in humanity using more of the earth's resources than it can produce naturally. A recent report found that the population sizes of animals have experienced a decline of an average and the scientist say that without human destruction of nature,
this
rate of loss would have taken thousands of years.
On the other hand
, others believe that there are more environmental issues we are facing. Climate change has various harmful effects, resulting from the human emission of greenhouse gases. To be more precise, climate changes like global warming lead to rising temperatures of the oceans and the earth's surface causing natural diasters that include flooding, melting of polar ice caps, rise in sea levels and
also
unnatural patterns of precipitation
such
as flash flood, hurricanes, drought and excessive snow. I conclusion, it seems to me that there are more significant environmental issues than the loss of particular plants and animals. Our environment faces several problems, and many of these seem to be worsening with time, bringing us into a time of a true environmental crisis.
