Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To want extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Governments
ought to allocate more currency on
railways
than
roads
. I totally agree with
this
statement because
railways
are much more convenient and there is less chance to do
accidents
.
Railways
is a great way to travel and transport products. Since it is much cheaper than
roads
transport so general people can effort
this
and there is no traffic jam on it.
As a result
, using
railways
people can save
time
and money.
For example
, in Bangladesh, in Eid-ul-Fithar, in Dhaka city, cow transport is very hard from different districts. Because in the Eid
time
most of the road has been blocked by traffic jam and it cost huge by
roads
. So recently,
Governments
allowed farmers to bring cows and other animals by train so in
time
farmers are able to bring their animals and sell them on
time
, which
also
reduce huge costs because in one train lots of animals are able to bring at a
time
. There is less chance to do
accidents
on
railways
. If
governments
maintain
railways
regularly
then
most of the big chances of
accidents
will be reduced
although
nowadays,
railways
accident chance is very lower than the road.
As a result
, a huge number of property and valuable life have been saved.
For example
, in Bangladesh, within the
last
five years, more than ten thousand
accidents
have been done on the road, by which more than 3 billion USD have lossed and lots of people died.
On the other hand
, within the
last
five years, no more than 200
accidents
have been done in
railways
, by which at around 2 million USD have lossed and most of the
time
no life loss. With
this
statement, anyone can say
railways
not only save a huge amount of money but
also
save lots of valuable life. In conclusion,
although
roads
and
railways
, both are important for every country,
railways
have much more advantages than
roads
. So I think
Governments
should budget more money for the railway's sector rather than
roads
.
