Without capital punishment (the death penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment in essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Some
people
 believe that the death penalty is important to control crimes in society, without one will make
people
's lives unsecured. I strongly agree with
this
 statement and I will present the reason for that. There should be capital punishment when it comes to punishing bad
people
, but only reserve for those who commit unacceptable acts of violence,
such
 as murdering others or making ones become disabled for their entire
life
. These
people
 that decided to do
such
 horrible things should not be allowed to live their lives
further
.
However
, the death penalty should not be used too much, because it can create unfairness to
people
 who mistakenly do bad things when they have no other choices at all.
For instance
, in Thailand, some
people
 are so poor, so they have to steal some food from restaurants so that they can live their
life
. On top of that, if there is no capital punishment at all, it means that
people
 who commit terrible crimes will get into jail
instead
 of getting punished by death.
This
 situation is not considered to be healthy for society because of two reasons.
Firstly
, the government needs to waste a lot of money to keep these
people
 in jail, provide them with some food,
for example
.
Secondly
,
this
 shows injustice for victims and their family, because
people
 who commit the crimes can live their entire
life
 without paying any money in jail, whereas the victims' families have to live their
life
 knowing their loved ones were gone. In conclusion,
although
 some
people
 believe that capital punishment should not exist, I consider that
this
 thing is so important to ensure safety for
people
's lives. Without
this
 can create unfairness to victims and their families.
