You are getting married. Write a letter to an English-speaking friend to invite him/her to the wedding. In your letter describe who you are going to marry, tell what will happen on the wedding day (the schedule), explain why it’s important him/her be at the wedding.

Dear Sonia, Hope
this
letter finds you in radiant health and the best of spirits. I have a surprise for you that I am getting married on the 28th of January and I am writing
this
letter to invite you to the wedding. You are always wanted to attend an Indian Sikh wedding and believe me you are going to enjoy all the functions before and after the marriage. My fiance, Udham Singh is working with Aces company as a Security Officer in Australia. We
first
met at Jalandhar and started loving each other. After that, he approached my parents through his family for a wedding. So, it is an arrange-cum-love marriage. You must come one week in advance because on the 15th of January, we have the 'Ring Ceremony' and on the
next
day, there is 'Ladies Sangeet' where you will get a taste of a lot of the folk culture of Punjab.
Then
we have the 'Mehandi' function on the 25th of January and
finally
the great wedding day on the 28th. You know in traditional Sikh marriage the bride and groom will take four rounds around the holy book known as Guru Granth Sahib. After the Doli ceremony, I shall leave my parents' home to go to a new house with my husband. You are my best friend and I know you are doing research on Indian traditional culture.
Therefore
, it is very crucial for you to attend my important day.
As a result
, it not only enhances your knowledge but you will definitely enjoy it. Thank you. Yours lovingly, Prabhjot Kaur

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
