Parents should control children behaviour but some says they shouldnot be controlled. Write both the viewes and give you opinion.
Youngsters attitudes have had to be swayed by their
parents
for one reason or the other, however
, some people believe that that shouldn't
be the case. This
essay believes that children
's behaviours should be checked and swayed by their parents
but only when they do the wrong thing. This
essay will discuss firstly
, why parents
should control
their children
, and secondly
why they shouldn't
control
their children
.
Parents
control
their children
for a number of reasons, for instance
, because the child
is stubborn, while others control
their child
because they just want their child
to behave as they would have. To shed more light on this
, while I was still living with my parents
they never liked me playing out with other kids
which I didn't
understand. This
I saw as being controlling because there was no constructive reason for their action.
On the other hand
, some believe that parents
shouldn't
control
their kids
because they might never be independent as they would look for directions to do things. This
is so because as they get older they will have no sense of direction, not being able to make decisions without being told what to do. For instance
, my parents
never allowed me to socialise with other kids
while I was young and as I got older it was difficult to make friends.
Moreover
, I believe that there are situations that warrant parents
to make tough decisions over their kids
. Situations such
as, a child
bullying other kids
, a child
stealing, or a child
being disrespectful to others. These scenarios are where parents
need to come in and sway them. Hence
, the kids
don't
do the wrong things anymore. So, parents
can control
their kids
by swaying them carefully from doing the wrong things and not so much controlling them with force.
In summary, parents
can control
their kids
but only when the intent is right and not for reasons that serve their purpose.Submitted by senikanosleu on
