Some people say that relationships should be based on honesty and trust. Others believe that it is sometimes necessary to be dishonest in order to maintain harmony. Which approach do you consider to be better in relationships and why?

Maintaining a healthy
relationship
with each other has been put onto
people
’s agenda for a long time.
However
, whether we should base our
relationship
with one another on trustworthiness or not is still controversial. Even though some
people
might think that the occasional dishonesty is necessary, I still purely agree that we should always be true to the individuals who are dealing everyday businesses with us. I will elaborate on my opinion in the following paragraphs. On one hand, honesty and faithfulness are the backbones of any sincere
relationship
. There are various kinds of relationships,
such
as husband-wife
relationship
, parents-children
relationship
, sibling, friends, and employee-employer
relationship
. Any
relationship
needs to be true towards each other, or it will be collapse sooner or later.
For example
, if a husband lies to his wife, their marriage will be definitely precarious. Even worse, having been deceived, the wife might no longer trust other
people
, or she, herself might become the one who lies to others.
Therefore
, without honesty and faithfulness, we can hardly own a real
relationship
with anyone.
On the other hand
, being trustworthy doesn’t mean that
people
should tell others anything at any time.
For instance
, sometimes, it is better to say nothing than say something that brings hurts to another person’s feelings. When a teenager, having experienced a failure in his or her examination, regrets all the time that he or she has already wasted,
instead
of honestly telling him or her the truth about his or her failure and the causes, parents should say nothing or simply being there holding their child’s hand and cheer him or her up again. In
this
way, the
relationship
can be enhanced, neither by saying facts nor saying lies, but by saying nothing. In conclusion, no matter how
this
world might teach us to be sophisticated by saying lies to others, I still believe the wisest way for us to deal with our
relationship
wither other
people
is to always keep faithful!

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
