Your photograph recently won a photography competition and will be shown in an exhibition. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter . describe the photograph you sent to the competition . tell him/her about the exhibition where your photo will be shown . invite him/her to the exhibition
Dear Sara,
I am so sorry I haven’t written to you for so long. I have participated in a photography competition that keeps me so busy that I hardly ever find some time for scratching my hair. I am writing
this
letter to invite you to the exhibition.
I have seen the advertisement regarding the photograph competition in the local newspaper. I thought this
could be a perfect chance for me since I can exhibit some of my talents. Therefore
, I went to the city Centre to take some pictures and while I was roaming in the street, I saw an old couple in the park. They sat under the tree and looked at the children who were playing at the playground. This
picture that brought me a gold medal will be shown in the exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on 10 January 2021.
I am looking forward to showing my picture to you and discussing other competitors’ works.
With love and many thanks from me,
