Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers.

Nowadays there is a growing concern over the prevalence of aggressive behaviours among teenagers.
Although
a great number of reasons are being provided by experts, psychologists relate
this
to the lack of emotional and social educations. The role of parents and teachers in the children personality formation is out of the question. To have a better understanding, we need to take a better look at the responsibilities of each party. For years, fostering youngsters had been viewed as a mutual responsibility of these two essential educators, but people are taking a fresh look at it recently.
For instance
, parents used to educate their toddlers by story-telling during daytime and weekends, the time
that is
replaced now by a
second
job to afford the expenses. So the less time they expend with the children, the less they can find out about their problems.
As a result
, the main burden of training is on instructors now.
Hence
some young teachers might not be ready yet,
this
has brought some serious problems. Teaching facilities are being under pressure from parents to improve their students' academic scores.
This
deters them from paying attention to other aspects like social and mental development.
On the other hand
, the role of social media should not be underestimated. While neither families nor teachers are providing necessary lessons for youths to become well-trained members of
this
society, it is not out of mind for a child to seek these lessons on the internet, which is the most available existing way. A place where is full of violent content, movies, and games. To sum up, I agree that there is a trend of ignoring the obligations toward fostering the
next
generation that can lead them toward improper expressing their unattended emotions. In my opinion, a well-designed strategy to balance the duty of home and school need to be provided by the time the destructive effects of the internet can change the behaviour of our children.
