Many people say that universities should only offer places to young students with the highest marks, while others say they should accept people of all ages, even if they did not do well at school. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
There are a sizable group of people who believe that educational institutes should give
admission
to students
who are in young ages and have maximum grades, whereas, many individuals claim that admission
should be open for all ages even though underperformed students
in their early educational journey. I have shared my points of view on both statements in the further
paragraphs and provided my opinion in the last
paragraph.
To commence with, universities
studies are not easy and it is not a cup of tea for everyone. There are many reputed universities
in the world that can become well-known just because of students
who are able to cope up with the university
high level of education. For example
, Stanford University
in the States only accepts top graded students
because the syllabus of this
university
is difficult to pursue and only those students
who are excellent in the study can only understand it. So it is significant that the admission
process of institutes should be taken care of based on scores only, age should not be the factor to count for the admission
.
Secondly
, students
who are failing in study during school time and not dedicated enough towards study and can't get enough score to get admission
offer from the famous universities
. For these ,students
there are many less well-known colleges available in all countries. For instance
, there is a Sault college in Brampton, which accept students
who have low grades in high school. Moreover
, this
college also
offers a number of programmes which are open for all ages. Such
as cooking, computing, art, etc.
I totally opine that admission
in any universities
should consider people of all age groups, whether the university
is famous or not. Furthermore
, the knowledge and score history of students
should be considered during admissions because learning capabilities are not based on age, it only depends on how a student is dedicated to studying.Submitted by malavjani92 on
