You have just won two tickets to a concert and want to invite your friend to go with you. Write a letter to your friend. In the letter • give details about the concert • describe how you won the tickets • explain why you’ve chosen your friend to go with you.

Dear Robert I hope you are enjoying your new job in a new city. As you are already familiar that we have not met for the
last
two months. So I would like to invite you to Justin Bibber’s
concert
which will arrange for the
next
weekend. The location of
this
concert
is city college ground of my home city. As you are aware that in my free time, I am solving online puzzles. The tickets for
this
concert
I received after solving one tricky puzzle of mathematics. But the website gives me two options regarding prizes, the
first
one is their premium membership and another one is
concert
tickets. I purposely select the
second
so we meet can meet at
this
event. Since from college days I clearly knew that you are a big fan of Justin Bibber. Even I
also
knew that two years back you
also
tried for his
concert
tickets ,but you didn’t receive the entry. Now destiny is providing you with
this
awesome opportunity. As you received
this
letter, please give the feedback whether you are coming or not. But I am confident that you will be there. Waiting for your reply. Take care, See you soon Warm Wishes Akshay Thakare

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
