Some people believe that children will have a bright future if they are always rewarded by their parents and teachers when they behave well. However, other people argue that if the children misbehave, they should receive punishment so that they can become qualified citizens. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is no denying fact that every parent wishes that their kids be brought up in a good way. Whereas, some of them are of the opinion that children should always be praised and appreciated when they follow good manners.

contrary the other section of guardians opines that they should be punished when they misbehave so, that they can become good citizens. I will be discussing both views in the following paragraphs. In today's busy life there is very little time left with parents to spend with their young ones. So, in order to overcome the guilt of not being able to take out moment for their children they tend to give the reward to them when they do anything positive.
Moreover
, a number of psychologists suggest doing the same as they believe that in
this
way young minds will try to do more creative things without any fear. For ,instance in the majority of the schools today certificates are given to students on every activity they participate in which boosts the confidence of the pupil. Needless to ,say there is another section of society that feel that the best way to handle children is to punish them when they make any mistake. As per their belief by doing
this
they will not only be able to differentiate between right and wrong they will
also
not commit that mistake again.
For example
in the majority of the government schools in India punishment is given to the naughty students or the backbenchers. In my ,opinion every parent has the full right to raise their kids as per their belief but it should be kept in mind that punishing student does not solve the problem
besides
in many cases students loses confidence in them. Weighing up both sides of the argument, I will conclude by saying that every elder should encourage their child to try new things and praise them whenever required.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
