Despite that , a positive trait in character is crucial in maintaining a good relationship with others and I believe that does values are fundamental in determining a person's status in the community . Undoubtedly , richness and political influence get us to achieve our goals easily in life. To be able to receive good education not to mention getting into the most prestigious universities,wealth and good social connection with the top post people are crucial. Everyone would want to become a minister, doctor or get into the professional field because they believe that in the times to come, respect from people comes indefinitely. Despite all the achievements that we attain, we cannot deny that we will need to face the public in our daily life. Without contributing and assisting the needy in society , we would lose respect and support from others and will be perceived as being selfish. We will hold a poor reputation and people will not come to buy or take our services if they do not trust us. We would be surrounded by richness but we will not have true friends who would stand by us during times of need and diffilculture especially when we fall.
For example
 president Barrack Obama, he is respected and reputable not for his richness but rather for his philanthropic works.  A student who is helpful helps the struggling ones in school would be well respected compared to a rich and snobbish one whereas a doctor who does charitable events and has a heart for his patients would receive a higher recognition and demand in the community compared to a one that only thinks about profit. Summing up, values which are important in maintaining a good relationship with others not only guarantee our happiness and keep us alive but are important in our general well-being and cannot be measured with the amount of money we have in our pockets or the social status which we hold.
