You have had a problem with your neighbor for the past few months. You have not been able to meet with your neighbor to discuss the problem. Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter: Explain the problem Suggest a solution Say what action you will take if the situation does not improve

Dear Aman, I am writing
this
missive to let you know that I have been facing some issues.
However
,I am not able to communicate with you in person due to the differences in our working hours. So,it is better for me to convey my message by writing a letter to you. Let me explain the situation, after finishing up my office work from the hustle and bustle of the day.I come at around 5:30 pm on the regular basics but during that time, the kids of your tenants use to play cricket on the terrace and when they hit the ball it sounds so loud, apart from
this
they make noises which left with less time to sleep due to the disturbance.
Also
,many times their tennis ball is found in our parking area and there are instances which had caused injury to my friend when he kept his knees on the ball
as a result
fell down.
Furthermore
,I would like to recommend you that please ask the kids to play in the park which is located near to our locality where other adolescents
also
play.
On the other hand
,they can
also
play indoor games. From my point of view, you should address these issues immediately.
Otherwise
,I will make a complaint in the nearby police station, for the violation of domestic rules. I hope you will make them understand. I hope to hear from you soon. Yours sincerely, Haman

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
