Many organization and companies ask their staff to wear a uniform. What are the advantages of this?

Now, there is a big trend going on in multinational as well as local companies for having
uniforms
for all their
employees
and
this
is a positive development. As it brings uniformity between the
employees
and sends a message of harmony and equality among the
employees
. The
dress
code
removes all class differences and makes them united as a team under a single logo, which makes them proud of what they do and gives them job satisfaction.
Uniforms
for some companies are required for the safety of the
employees
to protect them from harmful effects of chemicals and extreme temperatures like coveralls for welding workers and special gowns for chemical handlings.
Uniforms
provide a clear difference between
employees
and outsiders as it is easy to recognise from
uniforms
who work in the institution and who are outsiders
this
, in fact, adds safety to the institution from invaders ,
Additionally
uniforms
serve as one kind of a visual identity for the
company
and
employees
as one can identify by seeing
dress
code
,who works where. The
company
gathering all
employees
having neat and clean
uniforms
without wear and tear produces nice team pictures for advertising and social media. On the other ,hand buying ,providing and maintaining
uniforms
for all
employees
is a huge burden on the
company
and frequent turnover of
employees
adds cost to it. ,
Furthermore
storage and handling of
uniforms
need extra space and staff with additional responsibilities. use of
dress
code
is a big decision for the
company
and should be decided carefully considering all pros and cons. To sum up, a uniform
dress
code
is a welcoming step for the
company
as it brings safety and unity for the
company
and its workers with little extra cost of
uniforms
.
