think that the benefit of learning a foreign

language

is to travel to or work in a foreign country since they are likely to be worthless and a waste of time for those who do not want to live abroad.

For example

, according to the latest survey conducted by Bangkok University, it has been revealed that 80% of pupils who are studying in mandatory education in Thailand tend to ignore the English

language

because they do not want to live abroad in their future

life

Thus

they do not think it is worthy to study a new

language

apart from their mother tongue.

On the other hand

, I agree with those who believe that there are many advantages to learning a new foreign

language

Firstly

people

will gain worldwide knowledge assets which would be different from ordinary.

Secondly

who have learnt another

will not have barriers in communication whether in personal

or work growth.

, it would bring more opportunities to

is because today's world has changed dramatically particularly in the business field, many countries around the world have participated in the trading world.

However, the disadvantages are that it puts tremendous strain on the environment and encourages harmful farming methods.
