Some people think cheap air travel brings us benefits while others believe that non-essential flights should be cut in order to reduce environmental problems caused by cheap air travel. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Economical flight trips are important modalities in saving time, money and energy as compared to other means of transportation. People opine that these facilities should be reduced as they pollute the surroundings. I completely disagree with
this
statement . In the subsequent paragraphs, I will elucidate on both perspectives and illustrate why cheap flights are important to us.
Firstly
, we cannot connect easily to places which are located very far away by road or sea. Aeroplanes allow us to cross boundaries situated thousands of kilometres away as they operate at a very high-speed crossing of heavy traffics. Previously, travelling via flight were very expensive and only available to those who were privileged enough to pay for the price of
air
travel. Nowadays ,
however
through the advancement of technology, our world has become a small global village where ample flights both domestic and international are reachable at an affordable cost.
Secondly
, aeroplanes operate on fossil fuels which release carbon monoxide into the
air
that are detrimental to the environment unlike bicycles and electronic cars. Despite that, their fuels are much lighter and are less hazardous compared to other vehicles which operate on regular petroleum and diesel fuels
such
as cars, motorcycles, trucks ,four-wheelers ships and conventional trains. Noise pollution is
also
lesser when an aeroplane operates high up in the
air
far away from residential areas as compared to the screaming and ramping of trains as they wheel through the tracks and railway system. Planes do less harm to the surroundings . They do not damage the ecosystem of the ocean as ships do when they dump waste while streaming across the sea. Summing up, despite the fact that cheap
air
travel introduces some pollution to the environment, international transportation is inevitable and people cannot live without the existence of it an aeroplane. They are
also
less likely to damage the environment compared to most of the other means of transportation. The likelihood of
air
travel being banned is low as there are more pros to cons of it.
