Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to the cinema other says to be fully enjoyed films need to be seen in a cinema.

The debate around whether
people
prefer to watch movies on their electronic devices
such
as mobile phones in preference to go to the
cinema
has raged on recently. I, for
one
, believe that going to the
cinema
still is a preferable way of watching a movie. On the
one
hand, thanks to new technologies
such
as tablets all
people
are enabled to watch a movie for several reasons.
Firstly
, avid watchers have access to an unlimited source of movies which is not only cost-effective, but
also
does not have any time limit, so whenever they want they can watch

. According to a recent statistic which has been published by the New York Times newspaper, approximately 60 per cent of
people
would rather watch a movie on the Netflix website rather than go to the
cinema
In addition
, given the subtitle ability, all individuals could enjoy a film without paying attention to the language.
In other words
, they have an instant translation that could be even tailored in size and colour.
On the other hand
, many
people
still are enthusiastic about going to the
cinema
. The
first
and foremost reason for their passion is watching the latest film. They highlight that online movies, especially free ones, are not recent, so it is inevitable to go to the
cinema
.
Furthermore
, the
cinema
can act as a catalyst to strengthen the bond of families and friends, and it is
one
of the best places for socializing and interacting, so the
cinema

a dual purpose by entertaining and keeping family close to each other. Having taken all into consideration, as far as I am concerned, the
cinema
's merits outweigh watching a film on the phone because it would make enjoyable moments for
people

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
