Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
letter with regard to inform you that I am interested in the part-time voluntary job which was mentioned in yesterday newspaper. I would like to apply for that job. My name is Yan and I am a part-time university student from Teesside. As a part-time student, I have plenty of spare time to do things which is useful to me. I consider voluntary work for museums to be a kind of interesting thing to me because I am really interested in arts and history.
Moreover
, I do understand that voluntary work is a sort of helping to society. Another thing that I choose for
this
job is the location of your museum. It is near my house around the corner of my street. I am good at some computer skills
such
as Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint...etc. I am not sure what kind of specific skill are you looking for but I hope, the skills that I have would be fulfilled your expectation. I will be available every weekend and on public holidays from 10 am to 5pm. I would appreciate it if you can give me the lunch break around 12 to 1 pm. I look forward to hearing from you soon about
this
. Yours faithfully, Yan
