In some cultures, children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

In some countries, many children are taught that if they

 hard, they can obtain the results that they want.
This
 kind of encouragement can benefit the children to be confident with themselves but it can
also
 make them feel insecure if they are not met with their expectations. On the one hand, kids and adolescents will gain self-confidence and self-belief when they are told anything is possible if they try hard enough.
Thus
, children perform their
work
 with much dedication and motivation until they achieve what they want without giving up despite multiple difficulties along the way.
Moreover
, they obtain a strong mindset and skills that will be helpful for their employment or investment in the future.
For instance
, my little brother who is a bit slow in Math and failing his exams

 passed one after studying hard with encouragement and support from me and our parents.
On the other hand
, for the young ones who are working hard in a particular field

 not suitable for their talents,
this
 kind of teaching can make them feel discouraged and disappointed in themselves.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
