Tourism is becoming increasingly important as a source of revenue to many countries, but its disadvantages should not be overlooked. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays,
tourism
is becoming increasingly important as a source of revenue to many countries.
On the other hand
, pollution caused by travelling to some
places
can lead to global warming. In my opinion, I partially agree with the topic.
To begin
with, travel agencies made it easier to visit famous
places
like Goa, Ooty and
Aaraku
Correct your spelling
Naraku
. These
places
are economically weaker
places
,
tourism
helps these
places
to grow economically.
For instance
, I recently visited Andhra Pradesh on a tour bus, the buses were arranged by the government for travel purposes, the revenue collected by the buses is given to developing cities in Andhra Pradesh like Vijayawada, Vishakapatnam and Anakapalli.
Moreover
, collecting funds generated by tourist
places
can reduce stress on the government by decreasing the amount spent in these
places
for development.
For example
, there is a place called Repalle near Prakasham Dam in Andhra Pradesh
this
place is economically backward so, the government spent thousands of funds on these
places
for development, after the introduction of
tourism
this
place is renovated by the amount collected from
tourism
.
On the other hand
, there are remote areas like the south pole and north pole, introducing
tourism
causes trouble for the species living in
this
region. For travelling to these
places
it takes gallons of fossil fuels to reach.
For instance
, travelling to these
places
people need transportation like Ship and Helicopter, these modes of transportation burns fossil fuels. Due to
this
pollution increasing gradually. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons. I agree with
tourism
is an important source of income for economically weaker
places
.
