Dear Amrutha, Your unexpected visit to Kuala Lumpur was a nice surprise to me, and your letter, as usual, was entertaining to read. I'm delighted you were able to take a week off, and I'm looking forward to meeting you. I'd be delighted to have you stay with me for as long as you'd like. In fact, I would not allow you to stay in a hotel while you are in Kuala Lumpur. During your stay in the city, I recommend going to the Bird Park, Aquaria KLCC, Genting Highlands, National Museum, Butterfly Park, and China Town. I'll take you to the Petronas Towers, which were formerly the world's highest structures. I highly suggest that you taste the street food and shop at the Central Market.
This
city has
such
a vibrant and diversified culture that I am confident you will appreciate it all. You should spend some time in Penang and Langkawi after a few days in Kuala Lumpur. The former is a district and an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, whereas the former is a state known as the Pearl of the Orient and my particular favourite. We enjoy a hot and humid environment all year, with tropical rain showers thrown in for good measure. The temperature is currently between 26 and 36 degrees Celsius, and rain is falling virtually every day. Bring summer-appropriate clothing and a raincoat, as it is likely to rain. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person. With love,
Nithisha
