There is a controversial statement heating a debate over
leadership

. While some people believe
this

skill is a talent, others argue that it is able to be studied.
Although
Linking Words
the latter view is valid to a certain extent, I consider myself a proponent of the former one. It is undoubted that
leadership

involves several aspects, which can be learnt from experience. To be specific, the features of a typical
captain

are confidence, determination and the ability to convince their teammates, all of which can be taught on campus.
For instance
Linking Words
, high schools in Japan always hold events and activities for children to improve their set of skills of being a decent

Thus
Linking Words
, a
captain

is mainly created by education, not something that has been gifted.
On the other hand
Linking Words
, several individuals were born to be a
captain
Use synonyms
because they possess many personalities that others do not have.
Firstly
Linking Words
, while some people have to practice a considerable amount of times to confidently stand in front of the crowd, leaders can successfully deliver a speech without any preparation.
Secondly
Linking Words
, due to the fact that education can only form a person, not create one, some individuals can not achieve
leadership
Use synonyms
no matter how hard they tried.
For example
Linking Words
, in a normal class, there is always a monitor and a student who can not even talk fluently.
Lastly
Linking Words
, if captains can really be trained, there will not be talented leaders like Alexander The
First

, or Ho Chi Minh since everybody can be a monitor. In conclusion, despite the fact that we can be trained to possess some features of a
captain

,
leadership

is something that has been gifted when we were born.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
