In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?
In some parts of the world , you have to have your own residence rather than a renting
house
due to different reasons. Different conditions by the landlord and frequently rising rent money are the main drawbacks of renting a house
but , the main positive thing about you living in your own house
is freedom
. Hence
this
writer believes that owning a house
is a far more positive situation than renting a house
.
To begin
with , when we consider the negative side of a rented home , different conditions issued by the landlord is the main problem. Some may expect to give a high amount of money as advanced and some may expect monthly rental to be given in advance as well. Furthermore
, most of these owners of the property will issue some limitations for visitors , usage of gardens and social events like parties ,some of them may inhuman . For example
, my family once lived in a rented house
in Colombo and the house
owner expected us not to communicate with neighbours of the house
. Hence
, living on someone's property is not easy.
On the other hand
, when we consider living in our own house
, it will be a more happy and prosperous life than living in a rented home . Freedom
is the main good point because if someone restricted your freedom
, anyone can develop many mental problems like depression. On the contrary
, if you live in your own residence , you will feel confident and love to live and anyone can develop a love to improve your property . For instance
, according to research conducted by the Colombo University , people live happily in their own houses than the residence of a rented house
.
In conclusion , some landlords may restrict the life of residents of the rented house
by implementing new rules , hence
more and more people like to live in their own house
enjoying the freedom
. Since then

is a positive situation than one negative .Submitted by mngldissanayaka on
