The graph represents the number of

leisure
 spent by working males and working females in a week during the

 period from 1998-1999. So the graph depicts
this
 comparison among various segments-people employed full
time
 or part-
time
, people who are unemployed, retired, housewives. Overall, females in every category are compared to males who are found only in three categories and who
also
 enjoy more
leisure
time
 than females. There are around 6 -7
hours
 of difference in the
leisure
time
 that
men
 enjoy more than women in all the categories where
such
 a comparison is made. In the case of
men
 who are employed full-
time
 have a
leisure
 period of around 45
hours
 per week, for unemployed
men
, the same is about 85
hours
 and for retired
men
, it is around 82.
On the other hand
, women in the same sectors spend 6 to 7
hours
 lesser recreation
time
 i.e around 37
hours
 and 78
hours
 for the latter two categories. 
Also
, the women who are employed part-
time
 and are housewives find themselves having 40 and 50
hours
 respectively of free
time

    • Sentence 1 - Summary
    • Sentence 2 - Restatement of thesis
    • Sentence 3 - Prediction or recommendation
