Some people think it's better to choose friends who always have the same opinions as them. Other people believe it's good to have friends who sometimes disagree with them. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

Friends
are one of the important companions in life apart from family. The human brain is a unique structure in which the thinking process is uncontrollable.
Therefore
, it's usual that
people
have
friends
that think in the same way while others have different ideas.
People
think it's better to have
friends
who always have the same views as them. To support
this
, it is true that having
friends
with the same thinking can maintain their friendship in a harmonious way.
People
will feel that there is someone there who knows their feelings well. There will be lesser conflicts among each other.
For example
, planning a trip for a holiday. Same thinking
friends
usually will lead to a smoother and more enjoyable time throughout the trip.
On the other hand
, other
people
believe it's good to have
friends
who sometimes disagree with them. More ,importantly is agree to disagree. There are findings that prove that different opinions which initiate discussion will actually boost brain activity.
Moreover
, true
friends
are not afraid to voice their opinions.
For instance
, a person suddenly being influenced into a scheming programme.
Friends
that understand that situation will voice their ideas and will help out to avoid falling deeper into
this
programme. In my perspective, I personally think that having
friends
with different ideas are better.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
