It is commonly believed that nowadays main factors that affect a child’s development are media, pop culture and friends. A different point of view is that family plays the most significant role.

It is commonly believed that
children
are influenced by their environment. What is not agreed upon is whether it is family or outside
factors
that have the most influence. In
this
essay, both of these viewpoints will be outlined. Nowadays,
children
have to go to school five days per week. They meet their friends almost every day. They
also
spend a huge time using the internet.
Additionally
, young
people
usually imitate
people
they are familiar with.
Similarly
,
children
often mimic what they see in the media. They are all sorts of influencers and online personalities that millions of young
people
view every day. Inversely, it is widely held that family is a primary influence. Most
children
live with their families, meaning that many have constant exposure to parents, siblings, and relatives.
Moreover
, parents are normally the
people
who have a responsibility to teach their
children
. Young
people
that were given morals are likely to copy the way they were taught. It is my opinion that family plays the biggest role in a child’s life. I have noticed that I often have the same opinion as my mother.
Furthermore
, I have observed my sister begin to copy my mother’s actions. As
such
, in my own life, it is family that has been the main influence on how my sister and I compose ourselves. To summarize, both external
factors
,
such
as friends, pop culture, and media, and family as internal
factors
play a significant role in a child’s development.
Although
my opinion is that internal
factors
have more effect,
children
need both
factors
to build their growth. They cannot grow up either external or internal causes.
That is
to say, the more their environment is better, the more their growth becomes better.
