Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems

Nowadays,
traffic
congestion especially in big cities turn into a controversial issue that can result in so many problems . One way to deal with
this
issue is to raise the price of
petrol
in order to manage the volume of
cars
in big cities. I am in favour of
this
point of view and support my view with some examples and draw a conclusion.
First
and foremost, in multicultural countries, the majority of people tend to use private
cars
rather than the public transport system mainly because they are more comfortable with
cars
to commute to work or college and since these vehicles desperately need
petrol
to perform well , by increasing the price of it there will be a sudden decrease in the number of
traffic
especially,in term of lower-classes who cannot afford expensive
petrol
.
Secondly
,
Although
there are a significant number of factors associated with cutting down
traffic
and pollution
such
as energy efficiency programs or replacing old
cars
with new
cars
, we need to take into account that none of them can be more effective than expensive
petrol
. Until , most of the
cars
are replaced with modern ones which work with solar power and no longer with
petrol
, the best option is to make people pay more for
petrol
so as to avoid them bringing their
cars
into the town.
On the contrary
, others
also
argue that the best solution to
this
problem is to clean the environment by promoting tree planning programs or trying to make public transportation systems a better area for citizens
otherwise
,
petrol
cannot act firmly to stay cities away from
traffic
and pollution. All things considered , I believe that
petrol
can play an important role in
this
big issue and can be a much more efficient plan to consider for the solution.
