Housing has been a basic human right since ever. Unfortunately, there are an increasing number of homeless around the world.
This
essay will argue the main causes of homelessness and put forward some possible solutions that may be taken to mitigate the problem. The progressive increase of folk without housing or even with one home below the minimum standard is a major social problem nowadays. Poverty is not the only reason to explain
this
phenomenon. Even in the United States of America, the strongest economy in the world,
this
situation is getting worse day by day.
For example
, Los Angeles and New York have the biggest homeless population in the country whereas Miami is showing the tendency to be in
third
place. Families with average incomes will not be able to pay off their rent since they must spend more money every year.
Moreover
, people with a lack of education, addiction to drugs, mental illness or severe family issues may lead to end up dispossessed. There are several solutions to avoid or decrease
this
issue.
Firstly
, the government has the main duty to give their population tools to thrive, earn money and afford suitable houses.
For instance
, by providing education programs, people will be able to find well-paid jobs to pay the rent fee every month. Other solutions to these problems could be offering social security and health insurance available for everyone.
In addition
, the construction of several shelters is very important especially to help those who have mental conditions or drugs addiction. Homelessness is one of the worst problems that humanity must face even in developed countries. Multiples causes are leading to aggravating

social problem in major cities. Government must create policies to avoid or decrease it around the world.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
