A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He / She has asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter • Explain why you think your friend would enjoy a camping holiday • Describe some possible disadvantages • Say whether you would like to go camping with your friend this summer

Dear Sara, I hope you are doing well. I'm delighted to hear that you're wishing to go on a camping holiday and would be more than happy to answer your questions. On top of that, it is a great outdoor activity for enjoyment as you have got a chance to unwind from your daily routine. From my previous camping experience, I can reassure you that you're going to have the best time of your life. Plus, you will definitely enjoy the various campsite activities
such
as cooking food in the outside area, singing and playing several games with your friends. Despite these amusements, there could be some downsides to
this
trip. Since you are a private person, you may find it difficult to share things
such
as a bathroom and even a camping tent.
Also
, you'd have to deal with bug bites as well as some poisonous animals. By the way, I won't be able to go camping with you
this
summer due to my hectic schedule as I have several assignments that I have to complete
this
week. I hope you understand my situation, and I will surely go with you
next
time. I hope you will enjoy your trip. Best wishes, Rupi

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
