You recently took a trip with a taxi company. The driver behaved in an unacceptable way and you had a lot of problems. You complained to the company but no-one has replied to your complaint. Write a letter to the taxi company. In your letter • say why you are writing and how you feel • explain what happened • tell them what you would like them to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing
this
letter to express my dissatisfaction with the service that I received from one of your taxi drivers last
month.
Although
I have written an email to your customer service centre to narrate what your driver did when he drove me last
month, I have not been contacted until now. I find this
fairly unacceptable.
On 20th March, I went to Sydney to meet one of my important clients. After arriving at the Sydney airport, I took your company’s taxi and told the driver my destination clearly, which was the Sofia Hotel CBD branch. However
, the drive took me to another Sofia hotel that is
extremely far away from my destination, which made me miss my appointment and caused a significant economic detriment to me.
In my opinion, as this
is definitely the driver’s fault, I require that the taxi fee should be refunded to me immediately. In addition
, I reckon I am entitled to compensation for the financial loss and an apology.
Please respond to my email at the earliest opportunity to discuss the solution to this
problem. I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,
