Some people think that stars do not deserve high salaries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The issue of entertainers and athletes who gross millions of dollars every year is of great interest to many
people
. From my point of view, I completely agree with the view that they do deserve
such
high paying salaries.
Firstly
, to become famous, whether in the sports industry or the movie industry, takes a
lot
of hard work.
One
must train for years and years to make it to the level of a professional. Not only is
this
exhausting but, it
also
costs a
lot
of
money
. If
one
hopes to reach the level of a superstar, he or she must spend
money
on training and bettering himself or herself.
This
is not an easy lifestyle and requires dedication, which many
people
do not have.
Secondly
, these stars deserve to make a
lot
of
money
because they must give up their privacy to serve the public. As soon as stars leave their homes, they are subjected to constantly being pestered by
people
who want their autographs or want to take pictures of them. Famous
people
must undergo intense scrutiny from the media. Television and newspaper reporters take note of every action these
people
do and publicize it.
Therefore
,
this
is a difficult lifestyle to lead, as
one
must constantly be careful of what
one
says in public.
Finally
, working in these industries means that
one
was born with natural talent. They have possessed a skill that very few others own. If there were no
people
in society who could play
such
a role, the entertainment industry would quickly fall into oblivion. We need these
people
's skills to entertain us. In conclusion, I think that famous athletes and movie stars deserve their pay. While it seems like too much
money
when we
first
hear how much they make, after careful consideration, we realize that they must put a
lot
of work into their careers, much more than ordinary
people
do in many cases.
