Government is spending a lot of money to discover life on other planets some people think that gov is wasting money and should spend more on addressing the problems of public

Earth is the only planet that provides a livable environment for all living organisms. Due to the increased consumerism of the human population, slowly nature is revolting back at humans.
As a result
, scientists started to explore other places in space to migrate from the Earth to the other planets in future. Some people believe that it is an unnecessary expenditure while the money can be used for addressing the other important issues faced by the public. I totally agree with the former and
this
essay would highlight the analysis of my opinion. On the one hand, the population is being multiplied significantly year after year, resulting in the depletion of natural resources at a rapid pace. The greed of humans is causing an imbalance in the ecosystem which is resulting in an umpteen number of environmental issues.
For instance
, deforestation and increased fossil fuel consumption are resulting in global warming which in turn leads to the extinction of many species. To save the human race, it sounds sensible for some to think that government should take up the projects to explore other life sustainable places.
On the other hand
, the research about life on the other planets is extremely expensive and uncertain. As there is no guarantee of the success of these projects, it is not wise to spend a huge amount of money which could
otherwise
be used for saving our planet which is in our hands.
For example
, the government could set up policies to curb deforestation and encourage the usage of green gases or electric vehicles that can save mother Earth and increase the sustenance of life. To sum it up, in my opinion, it is more appropriate to allocate a budget for the research related to the protection of the environment than to use it for the exploration of unknown possibilities. By saving the ecosystem from the imminent dangers, we are assured that the future generation can live safe.
