After graduation, many students take a year to travel. Some think that it would be more useful to work for a year. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many students take a year off after their graduation and start travelling. Finding a job and having one year of work experience
instead
of one year trip after university is some other students’ aim. I partially agree with having a break after university but not as long as 365 days. I will discuss both views in detail and explain my opinion in continue.
First
of all, it is important for learners to practically use and try their knowledge and what they learned in the real world. In the short term, most people can remember their studies at an acceptable rate, but they usually forget part of what they learn at university after a while.
For instance
, it is possible to memorize and understand a complicated topic in chemistry for the final exam but there is a good chance to forget it after a few weeks.
On the other hand
, travelling will help students to find new people and expand their network
also
they can improve their understanding of life and make strong and useful relationships. They can try part of their learnings during their journey and enjoy their knowledge benefits in different situations. Students with a strong network are more likely to find a good job related to their major. In my opinion, 12 months gap after graduation may have a negative impact on what we learned, but
also
it is important to have strong connections and relations to find a satisfying job so I think it is good to plan for a semi-long trip after graduation but spending 365 days on a trip is too much.
