currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative medicine. However, at best these methods are ineffective , and at worst they may be dangerous. To what extend do you agree with this statement?

Alternative forms of medicines like Ayurveda, Unani and Chinese herbal medicines are used all over the world. Naturopathy is one of the earliest forms of
treatment
widely used in rural areas where modern medication hasn't been reached.
This
treatment
uses readily available local medicinal plants and methods like acupuncture to cure illness. These
medications
do not have any remedial action or sometimes cause more harm than the benefits statement is against the truth and disagrees with it completely. Ayurveda
medications
have found their place where modern
treatment
has failed to provide relief or side effects have become more prevalent than cure. All India Institute of Ayurvedic Sciences has circulated a list of chronic conditions where their treatments have 100% results without harmful effects.
Furthermore
, they are made from locally available products and at the point of use , are much more economical than modern
medications
as per Economical Forum-journal of Asia. According to "Charak Samhita"
this
form of
treatment
is friendly to the human body and got zero adverse effects. Acupuncture, one of the natural
treatment
is used for the
treatment
of chronic pain and have shown excellent results as per data from the journal of pain management-Shanghai.
Additionally
,Chinese herbal
medications
are used all over Asia as health tonics and anti-oxidants which are quite cheaper than their competitor according to famous economist Jack Ma.
Moreover
, naturopathy had found its root in ancient Indian"Ayurveda" and had been time tested for more than 2000 years which eliminates the need for scientific studies. Considering available facts and evidence from different scientific journals and opinions of experts in reality alternative medicines are better options for long-standing medical conditions as well as they do not impose any threat to human health. The statement mentioning alternative
medications
as ineffective and dangerous is far away from the truth.
