At the present time, the population of some countries includes relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people.

Nowadays, the number of the young adult
population
is usually larger than that of elders in some nations.
This
has certain advantages in several areas and I personally believe that there will have fewer drawbacks compared to benefits.
Firstly
, having more younger
people
obviously means that there have a more workable
population
. Younger
people
are valuable human resources for workplaces as they have strong physical energy, innovation and fresh ideas and they have longer time left to spend at work than older
people
who are getting pinson sooner or are already out of the workplace.
Consequently
, the government have less burden on healthcare and primary education since young adults normally have fewer health problems and they do not require financial assistance from the government in compulsory primary education.
Moreover
, a major
population
of young
people
are entering their respective workplaces and
thus
financially independent. From their annual earnings, they will pay taxes to their governments and
thus
have a more supportive advantage on national budgets.
However
, there have certain disadvantages in
this
case, too. Older
people
have more practical experiences than younger generations and
thus
including fewer older
people
will affect the learning and problem-solving skills of younger
people
since there have fewer peer mentors to teach them based on their personal experiences, which is rare and precious.
This
will affect the way
people
tackle problems at their work and possibly distract the healthy economy.
Although
the government will not have to spend on the primary education system for adults and expect them to take part in the economy, some of them may decide to continue academic studies and may not be ready to enter the business world or real workplaces currently. To conclude,
although
there have possible weaknesses to having fewer older
people
in the
population
than younger
people
, there would have an attractive workforce and tax earnings
on the other hand
.
Thus
, I personally think that the advantages of
this
situation outweigh the disadvantages.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
