Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on our personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life. Which do you consider to be the major influence?

Investigations demonstrate that the power of traits which we were born with is more than the power of our life’s experiences in the formation of our personality and
therefore
progress. I believe in the notion that occurrences which we confront during life are more significant. In the following essay, I intend to clarify
this
point. It is a well-known fact that humans are born with characteristics that are inherited from parents and it is believed that these genetic traits affect a person’s activity in
such
a way that experiences can not do. I think
this
is not true as far as they are subject to change under living circumstances. In my opinion, there are factors that our living is affected by them. The most

important major agent is the environment; it is the key factor in the formation of our personality. To incite an example, someone who is narrow-minded or easy-going, because of some events in life may prefer not to be like

anymore. The other sample is a person whose perspective toward problems and happenings has been changed because of an accident.
Moreover
, experiences assist us to become more flexible when encountering difficulties.
For example
, students who are going abroad are facing a lot of issues,
such
as good and bad ones, but the more time passes, the more they learn how to deal with them.
For instance
, children in China have to work when they are so small. Not only do these situations prepare them for other harsh occasions later in life, but
also
enhance their interactions with other members of society and of course, their self-confidence definitely will be increased under
such
situations.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
