You borrowed an important textbook from a classmate last term. You now realize your classmate has returned home overseas and you still have a book. Write a letter to him/her. In your letter -apologise for the mistake -find out how important the book is to him/her -say what you will do
Dear John
Hello, hope you are doing well. Writing
this
piece of paper to apologise for not returning the text ‘Advanced Learning in C++’ that I borrowed from you during the last
term.
Last
night, I found that book in my cupboard while I was making it and realized that I forgot to return it , although
, I promised to return it a few days earlier. I am grateful to you for lending me this
essay just prior to the final term as it was a great help, but, I deeply regret not returning it on time.
I am not quite sure whether this
textbook is still indispensable to you or not. As far as I am concerned, you were planning to do masters in Computer Science and Application from one of the reputed universities in your country. So, please let me know if this
book is going to help you in cracking the entrance exam. Based on your response. I might courier it or send it through the post. Besides
this
, as you are aware, Dino is visiting your hometown next
month so if you can wait, I will send the book along with him.
Wish you success and look forward to hearing from you soon.
With Love
