Some parent buy their children large number of toys. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this practice

Parents
sometimes purchase a lot of
toys
for their
children
. There is a reason behind
this
phenomenon, as well as its benefits and drawbacks. I will discuss them in
this
essay. There is no doubt that
parents
buy
toys
for their
children
out of love. Every
child
enjoys playing with
toys
because they can provide them with companionship and joy.
Parents
give their
children
toys
for
this
reason. Today, everyone is so busy with their work that some people neglect their
children
to an extent. In
such
cases, if a
child
lacks
toys
to play with, they will feel lonely, leading to an unhappy childhood.
However
, if
parents
realize
this
and can't play with their
children
themselves for various reasons, they can give them playthings to mitigate the situation. While trinkets can't replace a parental figure, they can certainly bring some joy to a
child
.
Additionally
, when
children
receive
toys
as gifts, they will be wrapped in love. A loving
child
has a greater chance to become a loving adult and vice versa. According to data, criminals usually come from violent & loveless family backgrounds, while warmhearted folks tend to have a happy childhood. There are downsides to
parents
purchasing too many
toys
as well.
First
, it results in spoiled
children
. When
children
have so many
toys
at once, they cannot learn to appreciate them, so they become accustomed to them. As they grow up, they may develop a "selfish" mindset, believing the world revolves around them. Anything that does not go as planned might be even more difficult for them to handle.
Finally
,
children
cannot foster a sense of conservation out of
such
behaviours. As time goes on, they will never be satisfied with what they have. In conclusion, I suggest that
children
receiving
toys
from their
parents
has both advantages and disadvantages.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
