Nowadays people believe that the solution to

road

congestion as well as contamination is to raise the cost of fuel.

Road

traffic

is becoming exceedingly high

although

there are ways to get it reduced .

However

,I strongly disagree with the above because there are other ways to tackle these issues which I will discuss in

this

essay.

Firstly

, the construction of good roads and levelling of potholes are essential for

traffic

reduction , when the

road

is in good condition it reduces congestion of

cars

, as well as pollution, resulting from carbon monoxide release from a slow-moving car,

for instance

, recently there was a great improvement in a

in my area was in

traffic

reduction due to reconstruction and filling of holes .Government should be encouraged to employ a good number of

traffic

waders in order to control

cars

and

also

install

traffic

lights That are functional to enable the smooth passage of vehicles without congestion .

In addition

,car owners should be advised to service the engines of their

cars

regularly as well as good engine oils in order to reduce the emission of carbon monoxide that results in pollution . In ,conclusion ,

although

placing a high cost on petrol enables a decrease in

traffic

as most people cannot afford the cost there by parking their

cars

at home which in turn reduces the number of

cars

on the

road

I stand that other measures I listed above would be more helpful as people would want to petrol bedroom for other personal need.
