Writing task 1 sample letter to apologise: You have not seen a close friend for a very long time. You also still have a few of your friend’s belongings that were left at your house the last time she visited. In your letter include: – Why you are writing – What you’ve been doing since you last spoke together – Apologize for still having the items and ask how you can return them
Dear Christian,
It has been a long time since you came to my
home
last
summer, I hope you are doing well and healthy.
Just writing this
letter to let you know that I will marry Linda by next
month, so I sincerely invite you to come down to my home
and attend the wedding ceremony. It will be very interesting since we will prepare lots of exciting activities and surprises by the time.
I first
met Linda just a couple of days after you left. We both work at the Sino hotel and she is my new assistant. It was a pleasurable experience working with her and I am hooked up by her humorous personality. I will show you around our new home
near the Sinnon valley when you arrive.
By the way, I am very sorry that I still keep the book you gave to me last
time. You may come to my home
and collect it. I must say this
book is very attractful and inspiring.
Anyway, let me know what you think. I am looking forward to your response.
Cheers
